Leadership Through Mentorship

Over the course of a ten (10)-month period, beginning in February 2022 and ending in November 2022, WOCA’s Leadership Through Mentorship Program creates the space for participating members across the WOCA global network to connect through virtual cohort gatherings and one-on-one mentor-mentee encounters.

Tessitura Network

Early Career Development Program

Jaime joins the Tessitura Network's Early Career Development Program on the fundraising fundamentals track. Over this ten-week program, participants will gain foundational knowledge, hands-on experience, and practical skills using Tessitura’s CRM platform in fundraising; join a community of colleagues and mentors providing support, community, and professional networking; and secure access to a repository of training videos to expand knowledge of Tessitura.

Jaime serves as Communications & Publications manager for the 2022 Grantmakers in the Arts Conference Converge & Transform.

Opera Ithaca

Jaime will sing Aunt Lou in William Grant Still's Highway 1, U.S.A. and Zegner Daughter in Missy Mazzoli's Proving Up. She will also cover Fenena in Nabucco.

Akron Symphony Orchestra

Jaime will be the mezzo soloist for Margaret Bonds' Ballad of the Brown King with the Akron Symphony Orchestra.

Hear Us, Hear Them ensemble performers on the showcase at Christ Church Cathedral Cincinnati.

Resounding Peace

Hear Us, Hear Them ensemble presents, Resounding Peace, featuring world premiere commissions by Stacey V. Gibbs, and Danielle Olana Jagelski. The concert also features a new work in collaboration with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra's May Festival and Luna Composition Lab fellow Rachel Mugemancuro.

Apprentice Artist

Jaime joins the Apprentice Artist program with DMMO as a featured soloist and covering Lily in the Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, as well as covering Hippolyta in a Midsummer Nights Dream. She will perform Mercédès in Carmen, Siegrune in Die Walküre, and Tisbe in Cenerentola for the scenes program. Jaime will also sing Aunt Lou in William Grant Still's Highway 1, U.S.A. for Singing Black Stories: A Concert of Selected Works.

All Rise Intiative

Jaime will participate in a 10-week mentorship and professional development program with Tom O' Connor Consulting Group. She is mentored by Anne Trites.

Jaime will be attending the Opera Conference with Opera Leaders of Color in Minneapolis, MN, and serving as a panelist on "Pipeline to Ecosystem".

Jaime will sing Marie Maddalena/Scribe in CCM's production of Phillip Glass’s Galileo Galilei conducted by Mark Gibson and directed by Gregory Eldridge.
